2016 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship November Test At Daytona
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship November test at Daytona International Speedway.
The new season of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is around the corner, starting on January 30 with the 24 Hours of Daytona. So it was time for the official two-day preseason test at Daytona International Speedway, where the competing teams competitors who will kick off the 2016 endurance season at Daytona could let their driver pairings have a feel for the new or updated machinery.
A field of 24 cars in the Prototype, Prototype Challenge, GT Le Mans and GT Daytona attended the test sessions including a few brand new cars such as the updated Corvette C7.R, Ford GT, Lamborghini Huracán GT3, and BMW M6 GTLM who all made their official on-track debut.
The test sessions were not open to the public, and IMSA did not record official lap times.
