BELCAR 2006 mod for GTR2

Hi all

Two years ago , i started the Belcar 2006 Mod for GTR2, together with BSR-Sjokkel.
After getting some more help from numerous modders we got the base beta ready.
However, lots has changed both in my spare time and private life, since those days.
At one time i decided not to release the mod, because of various reasons. One being
that GTR2 did not seem to raise much interest after the release of GTR-Evo.Because of the many mails i have gotten regarding the mod, i have now decided to
release the mod on a ” as is ” basis. In general i am going to keep it in Beta status.
Lets call it an open project. Therefore i am on the lookout for people who would be
interested to help improve the final stages of the beta to get it release ready.

BTW, is the Ham Car Porsche #15 model ingame, because Merlin75 made it a long time ago, and I believe you’ve the files?

I would like to help, however, I can only offer testing. Wix, as you know I’ve followed this mod for the past 2 years and would love to see it come to pass.

Glad to hear the Belcar mod will be released some day.Thanks to the modders like Wix and others,who do there best to give it to us,the community.
Much apreciated guys for all your time and effort.
Let the cars roll out the starting grid @ Zolder soon.Cheers.

the video shows great promise and looks basically done,

once released , i think the community will fine tune it !!

Hey Wix,

I’d be happy to offer a hand with this mod. I’m not sure what needs to be done but I’m pretty good with 3dSimED and working with/editing the different car files (.cas, .hdc, etc.) in GTR2. I’m not that good at skinning but ok at small things like logos if you need those done.

If you need some help with skinning, i would like to help. At this moment i’m skinning the Belgian GT 2008 season. Here’s some of my work at following links.

Hi Wix if you need any skinnig done I might be able help. 3d stuff and tracks I have no experience with unfortunately.
I’m sure the work done will be appreciated by those who still use GTR2 – there are a lot I’m led to believe.
I’m at NoGrip as well with same handle
