WSGT2 Alpha Ingame Model test in Rf1

Today we did some ingame model testing using rFactor-1. This test is only a basic model test and is not an indication for an iminent release. We could state that the mod now is at 10% .all seems to turn out well, because the different look we where after is starting to show. Framerate was ok. 16 cars on the track in 1920*1200 AA4  produced between a 140fps and 260 fps using a Athlon X4 and an nVidia G285GTX. .Considdering the alpha status and no optimised gfx it performed better then expected. I did some tests with 36 cars on the track and even then i had a smile on my face.
From now on more members will start their part of the job. Thinlane-T will start the sound section and the Skin crew will start the skins on the allready finished templates. It is still early day to get a grasp of the more final look of the mod, but after the first Alpha test i am sure we have a winner here. Happy faces at the RMT headquarters.
PS: Expect some first shots of the pace car this week. A little surpise. The Pacecar will double as a bonus Cup Race in the release version.  As arnold stated .  for the puzzle freaks… Our team name does reveal the car.
