Development has begun on the second installment of software by the Sim Factory LLC and though no release date has currently been set the goal is to try to release it by the end of 2010. Our goal is to provide a more feature and content rich experience to our users. In addition we are still working to finalize content and other features for ASR, but at the same time looking to the future and our next projects release. The new version is going to be rebranded as the Professional Stock Car Simulator, by the Sim Factory and will be on a timed twelve month subscription format using the new gmotor engine. The new software package will include the ARCA Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards as well as many other forms of stock cars, all of which will be programmed with real world data to be as close to their real life counterparts as technology will allow. As we are a stock car simulation company we are still focusing on ovals from major venues to local tracks. Though don’t count out some roadies, the Palm Beach track is in development to be added into ASR as well as re-done for the new software and more will surely come after that. Over time we hope to move into dirt cars and the many wonderful dirt tracks still running today. In addition to the added content there will be many other new features available in the software. Some may ask…why go to a yearly subscription? The answer to the benefits of the subscription are simple and the difference between ourselves and our competitors is that it will cost far less as we only plan on doing stock cars and there is no content fee. Only the yearly fee, which is no more than purchasing the game each year at the normal cost. What this ultimately does is allows us to develop content faster and maintain more consistent content updates, which means more for you to enjoy and a software package that is growing at a faster rate. With users logging on through a web-based login system the security protocols are in place for a more structured racing environment as well as for our anti-cheat protocols to work properly. We are also looking at many other aspects such as official servers, cheat protection, front-end design and many more items that can create a more efficient online racing experience. As is with the last software, the Sim Factory will continue to maintain our superiority as the premiere physics design company using the gmotor engine. By continuing to work with engineers, teams and drivers we can offer the professional racing industry a viable training product and at the same time a product that can be enjoyed by stock car racing enthusiasts. We are also going to be designing our future tracks and redoing some of the tracks in our library based off of laser scanned and also GPS and vehcile telemetry data. Currently we are moving our website over to be more informational in regard to the new product and also to include more information about ASR. We are excited for the future of our product and look forward to providing you the most competative and realistic online stock car racing community. |
