American Truck Simulator previews

SCS Software, who is the developer of Euro Truck Simulator 2, is showing us some more preview images of their upcoming American Truck Simulator. While in ETS2 the road map you could drive on, was more than impressive, the development team wants to push the fidelity even further in American Truck Simulator. The team promises sharper textures, new building and intersection prefabs, city and nature assets, new weather setups, HDR and more. Al this is done to mimic the American roads as accurate as possible.

At this time there is no official release date planned for American Truck Simulator. SCS is still in negotiation with various US truck manufacturers.The outcome of these negotiations, will reflect on the estimated release date. American Truck Simulator will have more added features, making the workload somewhat heavier. SCS explains that over time Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator will both be combined in the World of Trucks platform. This way the individual features of each title will be combined to make it even a more complete experience.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are vehicle simulation games developed and published by SCS Software. The aim of the player is to drive a realistically modeled and simulated truck across the roads and highways of Europe (and America in ATC), picking up and delivering cargo.  You can get a hold of Euro Truck Simulator on the Steam platform for 29,69€. –
