Great news for the Assetto Corsa fans. Kunos Simulazioni announced on there Facebook Page that the  beta version of Assetto Corsa will be available in the very near future. ( In there own words very, very soon )
Kunos Simulazioni will use the Steam Early Access feature on the Valve distribution platform. This way you can get immediate access to games still in development and you will be able to give feedback, and gives the developers a chance to update and add content before releasing the final product.

The game will cost 34,99 Eur which will allow to save 22% on the retail price!. The Assetto Corsa Beta will give you access to the development version, including its updates, plus the final version when its released.  They have decided to include the Spa-Francorchamps track and three additional GT cars (Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Mercedes-Benz SLS GT3 and Lotus Evora GTC) in the core build of the game.

Even more impressive is the announcement that as part of the early access program, an update with new cars, tracks and features will be available every two weeks. The first build of Assetto Corsa includes the main game and 8 classes of cars for that make up a total of 11 cars. The Assetto Corsa V1.0 title will include a total of 35 cars, 16 vehicle classes, 11 circuits and 3 additional scenarios.

More content will be added during 2014 as DLC updates. During the Assetto Corsa Beta phase, the AI, Multiplayer and damage model features will be progressively added. The final release will include the career mode and more exclusive content.

Assetto Corsa is being designed to provide a very realistic driving experience, with single player and multiplayer options, officially licensed cars and tracks developed using Laser scan technology, and the highest level of accuracy possible in reproducing real world motor racing environments. Also, Assetto Corsa will allow for considerable customisation and modification, in order to satisfy the expectations of professional sim racers, gamers who prefer to approach the driving experience more progressively, and hobbyists who just like to collect lots of cars and tracks.
