Assetto Corsa – Lancia Fulvia HF V0.9 Released

Rodrigo Sanchez and friends released version 0.9 of their Lancia Fulvia HF for Assetto Corsa.

The aim was to create a 100% accurate scratch build 3D model of both the external body and very detailed interior of the Italian classic Fulvia 67/69. Creating the model, the development team has taken extra care to make sure the mod is as performance optimised as possible by working towards an economic polycount, optimised textures and 4 levels of LOD’s (Level Of Detail)  The mod contains all the official Assetto Corsa features such as a visual damage model, dirt buildup and shaders that match the quality and look of the official AC content.

The dev team has also put a lot of effort in some immersive little details such as a wobbling exhaust, shaking gear shifter knob, fading dashboard light, moving wipers under wind load, and a gearstick that moves according to the engine revs. Matías Rivas was able to acquire data from an Argentinian Fulvia owner who kindly provided the modding team with enough data to produce a fairly realistic physics set resulting in lap times that are comparable with the real world car performance.
