Kunos Simulazioni’s licencing manager Marco Massarutto posted a small preview of the upcoming Sauber Mercedes C9 for Assetto Corsa. The 1989 Le Mans winner will probably become part of the Assetto Corsa Dream Pack DLC.

The Mercedes Sauber C9 was a successful Group C prototype race car that was introduced in 1987 as a continuation of the partnership between Sauber as a constructor and Mercedes-Benz who provided the engine. The C9 replaced the previous Sauber C8 competing in the World Sportscar Championship. This mid engined car was powered by a Mercedes-Benz M119 5.0L Turbo V8 fitted with Twin KKK Turbos. The car won the 1989 24 hours of La Mans with Jochen Mass, Manuel Reuter and Stanley Dickens behind the wheel.
