Then again, now and then a comparison video pops up that is totally worth watching. One such video is the “Assetto Corsa vs Real Life – BMW M4 at the Nordschleife” production by 60fps Sim Racing.

In this video, we can watch a lap in the virtual Assetto Corsa BMW M4 Akrapovic at the Nordschleife, head to head with the real world 2016 BMW M4 GTS driven by former hill climb champion Jörg Weidinger.

It is amazing how the racing game / Sim racing world has changed the last few years, and we can’t wait for what the near future will bring us. Photo-realistic, high framerate, high-resolution VR isn’t far off.  Exciting times are ahead of us.
