Automobilista – Development Update May 13th

Reiza Studios has published a new development update outlining some of the Automobilista features and content that will become available in the near future.

The development team is finalizing the V09.3 beta and announced that it should be deployed to Early Access over the next week. The new build will feature some new content in the form of the Boxer Cup and the Virginia International Raceway track. The update will also contain the usual fixes and improvements.

Besides the V09.3 beta build, the Automobilista dev team is also working on some more exciting free content. The Copa Montana, Speedland kart track, and Mendig Gymkhana are scheduled to be released somewhere in the next few weeks.

The Reiza track team is working on the Brands Hatch circuit which is the first of three official British tracks to be released as premium paid content. Work has also started on the Ultima GTR car model which will become available in both road and race versions. The Ultima GTR will be released as a paid DLC. We can also expect to see the Formula Vintage appear in the game. The good news is that this nimble car will become available free of charge. Last but not least, Reiza Studios also hinted that besides the Ultima GTR they are planning some more British cars. More on that later.

On the code side of the Automobilista development, the backend structure to integrate the web portal into the game is shaping up nicely while the last remaining features of the Time Trial mode are being implemented. Furthermore, the free AMS dedicated tool via Steam is now in beta and should be made available shortly.

The Automobilista Early Access version is available on the dedicated Steam page for 32,99€.

Changelog Build v0.9.3:

• Revised Portuguese & Spanish localization (work still in progress)
• Added parameter to define engine layout & orientation, and set cars with transverse engines (Marcas, Mini, Lancers, Karts) accordingly
