Codemasters F1 2016 Released
Codemasters has released the official F1 2016 title for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The latest installment of the official video game of the 2016 FIA Formula One World Championship continues where its predecessor left off. F1 2016 features all the official teams, drivers, and circuits from the 2016 FIA Formula 1 season and is built around a brand new career mode that spans 10 racing seasons. Its multiplayer support accommodates up to 22 drivers.
The 2016 iteration of the game also introduces the return of the Safety Car and a new scratch-built Virtual Safety Car system, and a Formation Lap. The level of immersion has been further enhanced by the inclusion of manual starts and manual pit lane entry and braking. Also new is the saveable Multiplayer Championship and the option to edit your field of view.
For the hardcore fans, Codemasters created the F1 2016 Limited Edition that includes the ‘Career Booster’ DLC pack, which will give you a head start in your career, as well as exclusive Career Helmet and Laptop designs.
The PC version of F1 2016 is available on the Steam network for 49,99€
Together with the release, Codemasters also released the first patch for the brand new title.

- Re-assigning controls on the Logitech MOMO steering wheel

Codemasters made clear that due to licensing issues, the Fanatec wheels do not appear on the supported wheel list of the PS4 console. However, Codemasters is hoping that Sony and Fanatec will find a solution for this less than ideal situation.
