DEM DRS Integrale Pro steering system

DEM DRS Integrale – rF2 Formula Renault 3.5 test at Silverstone

The community asked for more video’s of the DRS Integrale Professional Steering System, so DEM Racing Simulators provided another quick preview video of their upcoming DRS Integrale wheel in action.

With this product, DEM wants to target the Sim Racing market by creating a less expensive professional force feedback wheel that will appeal to the more demanding user. To make this a reality, DEM decided to deviate from the more expensive belt driven and Direct Drive designs and opted for a twin motor solution with steal gears.

At the moment, the development team is focusing on the windows driver. The team still encountered some problems with the rFactor 2. The steering  axis was not properly recognized. After some hard work, and an extensive test session they solved the issue. In the video, we can witness a test session using the rF2 platform in a Formula Renault 3.5 at the British Silverstone circuit.

The release date and price setting is not yet announced, but DEM Racing Simulators are aiming to be ready for pre-orders by spring 2015.
