Fanatec Formula Carbon Rim in the works

In the beginning of this week Fanatec announced the new Classic add-on rim for the Club Sport Wheel on their official Blog site. Today Fanatec revealed yet a new add-on rim for the Club Sport Wheel. This time a carbon version of the already existing Formula rim. To quote Thomas Jackermeier on the official blog post…

“It seems that some of you expected a new rim with more buttons and less expensive so what about the new Formula rim with real CARBON fiber?”

It is stated that the Formula carbon sports the same functionality, but that the visual style is completely different. The unit comes with exchangeable grips and different colour options are planned. While the original Formula rim retailed for 179.95€, the Formula Carbon version will be €70 more expensive. 

The Fanatec Formula Carbon Rim will be available soon at a price of USD 249,95 (excl. tax) or € 249,95 (incl VAT)
