GamerMuscle – First Look At Project CARS 2 VR Support

The original Project Cars racing game managed to deliver Oculus Rift and HTC Vive users a pretty good VR experience. Therefore, the VR racing community has high expectations for its sequel. VR ambassador GamerMuscle jumped into the Project cars 2 PC version to find out just how good the VR implementation of the new Slightly Mad Studios title is executed.

During this talk & drive, GamerMuscle discusses the VR features and specific settings, while using his Oculus Rift CV1 headset. Even though GamerMuscle is using an early access version of Project CARS 2, it becomes clear that Slightly Mad Studios have done a good job, as the titles VR implementation appears to work well out of the box.

While both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive are supported, PlayStation users should take into account that SMS has no plans for PSVR support to be available at launch. Nevertheless, Project CARS 2 could become one of the most polished VR games to date.

Project CARS 2 the ‘ultimate driver journey’ will become available September 22 – 2017 for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam OS.
