GT5 vs Project CARS – Wet Lap Comparison.

 

 

bsimracing.com regular AdrianF1esp created a Pre-alpha-footage comparison video between Project CARS by Slightly Mad Studios build 402, and Gran Turismo 5 by Polyphony Digital.

The video is showing us the differences between wet races on both platforms.

    Same here, GT5 rain effects looks real compared to pcars, but I will support pcars, when it goes gold by purchasing it.
    I hope they release a demo of pcars so I can try before I buy.

    pCARS looks better but please drop the stupid “pre-alpha” disclaimer. The pCARS team and fans seam to have totally redefined what every developer would consider pre-alpha.

    It´s not that wrong to call it pre-alpha since it determines the inclusion of every single content and feature (or at least the most important) to work ingame (for its own). If this is done, alpha stage is coming where every included feature is tested to work together with the rest of the game. Since that´s not the case it´s still not wrong to call pCARS pre-alpha. On the other hand ISI shouldn´t have called rF2 beta since that wasn´t really the case like it is ok for RRRE.

    It´s a bit confusion at all, at least because some stages seem to need ages to be passed. But that´s how it works in most studios.The beginning is hard, but the further you are done, the faster it will go.

    Agree, cockpit rain experience in GT5 is fabulous.
