Gran Turismo 6 – GT6 GPS Visualizer & Data logger.

GPS Visualizer in Gran Turismo 6.

With the release of Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3 getting closer, more and more features are surfacing.
Next to the fact that the game will feature a massive list of 1200 cars and 33 tracks here is definitely more to get exited about.

Thanks to the integration of a gt6 gps visualiser, you will be able to drive your own Favorite Real-Life Routes. The “Course Maker” feature is going to be included in one of the future updates and will support a GPS Logger mobile app for smart phones. With this app you will be able to record real GPS data and recreate the recorded route as an in-game track.

For those who have the opportunity to run at track days, on the real life versions of the included  Gran Turismo 6 tracks, another great feature is on the horizon.
A GPS Visualizer will allow players to collect GPS coordinate data while running on one of the real tracks, and then later on import this data into the GT6, to turn them into a virtual replay of your real lap.

There is also mention of a Data Logger functionality that will allow you to see an analysis of your lap with graphs showing the speed, RPM, throttle pressure, gearbox info and more. This way the game could actually be used to improve performance in a real life environment.

In a future update, we will add the GT6 GPS visualizer. This is a feature that allows you to import Controller Area Network (CAN), used to regulate automobile systems, and GPS coordinate data from a real life car into Gran Turismo 6, and visualise the data as a replay in the game. The feature is planned to be compatible with the Toyota Motor Corporation’s CAN-Gateway ECU.
