Hardware – Fanatec Clubsport Shifter detailed preview.


 

 

Take a closer look at the Fanatec ClubSport Shifter!

This zoomed-in view of the CSS shows you that it features 7 speeds with an H-Pattern configuration, just like in a Porsche 911 car.

 

After the initial preview shots of the Clubsport Shifter, the second feature fanatec is focussing on is the table clamp.

There are almost unlimited ways to mount the shifter with this clamp from all sides and at any height.
The clamp is made of solid metal and is mounted with two screws. This makes sure it will fit to almost any table out there.

The clamp will also be compatible to your Porsche or CSR shifters.
As the ClubSportShifter is too heavy for the two steel rods it it not recommended to mount it directly to the wheel. Fanatec will have an adapter to mount it on the current ClubSport Table Clamp as well.

The adapter for the CS Table clamp will also work on the Wheel stand if you have the shifter adapter plate.

    You know what i’d love to see from a shifter is a link between it and the pedals that locks out the gears if you don’t activate the clutch. Or gives feedback to represent grinding. If Fanatec can simulate ABS vibration in the brake surely this is possibel in a shifter?

    That would be epic. I wish it were more of a plugin though. Like if you bought an adapter from fanatec you could fit it to third party equipment. That way everyone wins.
