Introducing the Playseat Xtreme Elite TOPGEAR

Playseat presents its new high-quality Xtreme Elite TOPGEAR seat.

This genuinely Top Gear licensed sim-rig uses an ultra-strong patented tubing framework for extreme rigidity and durability and is finished with a special metallic coating. The leather-look vinyl seat is fully adjustable by means of a patented sliding design. You can also control the incline of the seat. This way it will suit players of all sizes.

Another nice feature is the patented tilting mechanism that keeps the video screen and the wheel aligned at all times. The rig and seat are branded with the official TopGear logo.

The Playseat Xtreme Elite TOPGEAR seat retails for € 1.699,00 / us$ 1906,70 + shipping.

That said, It amazed us that on its sales page, Playseat only shared a bare minimum of info regarding the specifications of this rig. For instance, the Xtreme Elite features something that replicates a sequential shifter arm. Because Playseat does not mention a word about this feature, we can only assume that it is the arm that controls the angle of the seat. If we are wrong, let us know.

The rig is promoted as being compatible with a list of current hardware, but it is not reported to be pre-drilled for the compatible gear. The unit is also fitted with an integrated screen mount, but we can only guess wich VESA sizes and weights are supported. If we find some more details, we will let you know.
