iRacing – Five Flags Speedway coming soon

With the new update release of iRacing closing in, the development team also starts to tease us with footage of the new content for the online racing simulator. Today, iRacing posted a new video showing us the Five Flags Speedway track that is to be included in iRacing’s upcoming build. The track will have both day and night versions available at release.

The Five Flags Speedway is a highly banked paved half-mile racing oval situated in Pensacola, Florida. Ever since 1968, the track hosts the Snowball Derby which is considered to be the most prestigious Super Late Model race in the U.S.A.

The video also includes a snippet of what looks like a 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Toyota Camry that is not yet announced for release. the video ends with a mystery sound, not yet heard in iRacing. We are curious what it might represent.
