It’s that time of the year. Gamescom time!

Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco will be present at the 2017 edition of the Gamescom trade fair in Cologne, Germany to promote their upcoming Project CARS 2 title.  In accordance with traditional practice, they also published a new Gamescom trailer.

The Gamescom Project CARS 2 booth will have 28 PlayStation 4 pods available where visitors can experience a hands-on test session sampling a selection of cars and tracks that will be featured in the game. Besides the PS4 gaming pods, the Project Cars 2 booth will also feature no less than 6 CXC Simulations Motion Pro II simulators.

It is reported that gamers will be able to select three different combos. The Ferrari LaFerrari at the Nurburgring Sprint layout, The Porsche 911 GT3 R at Red Bull Ring National layout, and the Formula Renault 3.5 at the National layout of the Circuit of The Americas.

  • Project CARS eSports World Final @ ESL Arena: On Wednesday, 23rd of August, at 15:30 BST, the top 5 teams from the SMS-R Championship Series will be taking the stage for the World Final. A €5,000 prize pool is up for grabs, adding to the already secured €15,000 in prizes during the regular season.
  • DEVCOM Conference in Congress Hall, 4th Floor, CONGRESS CENTRE EAST: On Thursday, 24th of August at 15:00 (BST), join Nicolas Hamilton, Andy Tudor (Slightly Mad Studio), and YouTube star PietSmiet as they host a DEVCOM Conference discussing the development of Project CARS 2 and games in general.

Project CARS 2 the ‘ultimate driver journey’ will become available September 22 – 2017 for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam OS.
