In January of 1993, Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) and Jaguar Sport launched the XJ220C to compete in the GT class of FIA Championship. Because an FIA GT car has to be derived from a  homologated street car, TWR build the roadgoing XJ220S Coupe.

The Jag supercar was powered by a 3.5 l twin-turbo V6 engine that delivered 638 bhp. At the time, the limited-production Jaguar XJ220S TWR was the fastest production car in the world. It reached a top speed of 369 kph (229 mph) and went from 0 – 100 kph (60 mph) in 3.3 seconds.

Only nine XJ220 TWR’s were built. Tree for racing (XJ220C), and six (XJ220S) as street-legal sports cars.

Project CARS 2 the ‘ultimate driver journey’ will become available late 2017 for the PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam OS. On the consoles, PCars 2 will go head to head with upcoming heavyweights such as Forza Motorsport 7 and Gran Turismo Sport.
