Project CARS Required PC Specs

Slightly Mad Studios have published the minimum and recommended PC specs needed to run the upcoming Project CARS game. While the Slightly Mad Studios title has rased the bar of graphical detail, the minimum specs are easily within reach of most gamers. The recommended specs seem reasonable as well. Considering the looks and features of this game, it can be said that the Madness game engine is pretty optimised, making good use of the hardware.

Triple screen users will need a little more brute horsepower then the regular Project CARS required PC Specs to get the best out of their system. While the title runs fine on a single GTX670 and higher, for decent frame-rates in a multicar race we will have to go SLI or Crossfire. Let’s see what the coming high-end 800 Series nVidia cards will bring us.

MINIMUM SPEC:

  • CPU – 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400, 3.0 GHz AMD Phenom II X4 940
  • GRAPHICS – nVidia GTX 260, ATI Radeon HD 5770
  • MEMORY – 4Gb RAM, 1Gb VRAM

RECOMMENDED SPEC:

  • CPU – 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 3700, 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350
  • GRAPHICS – nVidia GT600 series, AMD Radeon HD7000 series
  • MEMORY – 8Gb RAM, 2Gb VRAM
