R3E Touring Classics Pack coming soon including the Nissan R32 GT-R

Sector3 announced that the Touring Classics car pack for RaceRoom Racing Experience will be released soon. ( Did somebody whisper next Tuesday?)

While the BMW M3 E30, Volvo 240 Turbo and the BMW 635 CSi are already available in the RaceRoom store, the pack will introduce a new iconic car.

The famous Nissan R32 GT-R is coming to R3E. This iconic Japanese racing car dominated the Japanese Touring Car Championship during the 1990´s by winning all 29 races it entered in the series. Overall, the car took the series title every year from 1989 to 1993. The Nissan R32 GT-R also won the well known 1,000 km race at the Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst Australia.

The Touring Classics car pack will feature revised physics to bring them up to the current standards of the RaceRoom simulation. With this pack, Sector3 will introduce a “Balance of Performance” physics set for all the cars in the pack in preparation of the upcoming multi-class Feature.

This new feature will let you mix up cars from different classes and will ensure you are having equal winning chances in each car of the class. As the cherry on the cake, Sector3 will provide a full grid of iconic liveries to dress up the race.

On the bottom of this post, you will also find the first preview picture of the Paul Ricard circuit that is in the works for R3E. At this time, there is no release date known.

Keep in mind that those who never tried R3E or missed out on the RaceRoom Free weekend, and still want to sample some of the content available for R3E can still test all the cars fro free in a limited environment when visiting the RaceRoom Store.
