rFactor 2 – Endurance Series Ligier JS P2 preview screens

The EnduRacers Modding Team and the Gentlemen Racers have shared some new preview screens showing us the Ligier JS P2 that will be part of the Endurance Series mod for rFactor 2.

The screenshots show us the rFactor 2 model wearing its naked carbon fiber livery and grant us a sneak peek inside the cockpit showing off the details and textures.

The Ligier JS P2 is a Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) Endurance racing car designed and built by French manufacturer Onroak Automotive, and named in partnership with French former Formula One team owner Guy Ligier.  The Ligier JS P2 was the first Onroak build car that featured a closed-cockpit design.

The car was designed to be able to utilize the available LMP2 engines such as the Nissan and Judd’s naturally aspirated V8 engines and Honda’s turbocharged V6 engine. The JS P2 debuted at the 2014 edition od the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and has been campaigned in the FIA World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series and United SportsCar Championship.
