Rfactor 2 – Using the Oculus Rift – Formula Cars.

Bsim regular GamerMuscle posted a quick preview video using Rfactor 2 with the Oculus Rift. This time we can have a look at the formula and Historics cars in the Image Space Incorporated title.

GamerMuscle talks you trough his findings while driving the cars and try´s to describe the immersion you experience when using the VR headset with rF2.
The unit used is still the current development kit and has its limitations. The final release version of the Oculus Rift will feature enhanced performance, higher resolutions support and a different housing.

The Oculus Rift is a next-generation virtual reality headset designed for immersive gaming. 

It is a virtual reality head-mounted display. It is being developed by Oculus VR, who have raised $16 million, of which $2.4 million was raised with crowd funding via Kickstarter.
The company was founded by Palmer Luckey and the co-founders of Scaleform, and id Software cofounder John Carmack was later hired as its Chief Technology Officer.
