Ring Knutstorp Coming to RaceRoom

There’s no holding back Sector3 Studios. Only a week ago, they introduced the Falkenberg Track for RaceRoom, and already have a new surprise for us.

Sector3 Studios officially announced that the popular Swedish Ring Knutstorp track will be added to the RaceRoom Scandinavian track list. Some of you might remember this awesome track as part of Simbin’s “STCC  The Game” in which it was often called the most fun track in sim racing.

At the time of writing, no official release date was given. We will keep you posted when we receive more detailed info. To warm us up for the brand new content, Sector3 Studios shared a large number of in-game preview screenshots.

Ring Knutstorp is a racing circuit situated in Kågeröd, Sweden, and is one of Scandinavia’s most successful tracks, with a history stretching back more than 50 years. The circuit was built in 1963 and extended to its present 2.079 km/1.292 miles configuration in 1970.

During the seventies, the circuit hosted several rounds of the Formula Three European Cup. With the end of the old Euro F3 Championship in 1984, Knutstorp faded from the international scene, though it has remained favorite on the Swedish racing calendar. Since the 1990s the track is part of the Swedish Touring Car Championship STCC calendar and also hosts rallycross events.
