Sector3 Studios teasing upcoming content for R3E

Sector3 Studios posted two new screens teasing us with some upcoming content for RaceRoom Racing Experience. It becomes clear that Sector3 Studios is pushing hard to bring us more exciting content. While earlier this week they showed us preview screens of the upcoming Sonoma circuit, they now are teasing us with screens of what looks like a Porsche 935 K4 or Fabcar 935/84 as pointed out by a reader and a Nissan Skyline R32 Group A.

The Porsche 935 was a very successful racing car built by Porsche in 1976. During the same year, Kremer Racing developed the Porsche 935 K1 and introduced the K2 in 1977. Two years later they introduced the 935 K3, and finally mid-1981 presented the Porsche 935 K4.  This beast was powered by a 3,1 litre engine producing between 750 and 8 00 hp at 1,5 bar Turbo boost. The car had a very recognisable stuttering Turbo whistle sound and was famous for its huge exhaust flames that were a direct result of the Turbo lag. The Porsche 935 was the most successful Group 5 car of its era.

Then again, we might miss the ball meaning the car could represent another derivative of the 935. (as pointed out by Justin Schmidt in the comments)  The Fabcar 935/84 was built for Bob Akin Motor Racing. The body included a Kremer K4 nose with NACA ducts on the front fenders and a double-window long tail rear end. The car competed in the Daytona 24 Hours, Sebring 12 Hours, Road Atlanta 500 kms, Riverside 6 Hours and Lime Rock 1 Hour.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R32 won the  JTCC Group A series championship 4 years in a row. In 1993 the most famous R32, piloted by Kazuyoshi Hoshino and wearing the famed CALSONIC livery achieved a spectacular record, winning all 29 rounds of the championship.

This  twin-turbo, all-wheel drive and all-wheel steer Group A R32 was literally unbeatable.  The Nissan Skyline GT-R32 was powered by a RB26 DETT straight-six delivering between 550 and 650bhp.
