The Simpit – Computer Cleaning tips

Cleaning your computer might not be the first thing that comes to mind, when you are talking Sim Racing. Then again… Your computer system is the main source of everything you will do in a simulator. Shaun Cole from “The Simpit” shares some tips on how to clean your the internals of your computer. Many of you might already know how to do this, but for the novice this might be not as straight forward.

Shaun explains that over time the fans, the filters, and the internals of the computer case can become dirty and compromise a good airflow inside the case. This can lead to a damaged, or under-performing computer system.  In this episode, Shaun shares a few computer cleaning tips to get you all started. Giving your Sim Racing Computer system a good spring cleaning will make it last longer and perform better and ultimately provide you with a less noisy environment to enjoy your Sim Racing time.

That said, if you are not sure how to do it, or you don’t feel confident opening up your computer case, then it might be a good idea to bring your PC to the local Computer store and have them do it for you.
