Asetek Sim Sports CEO, Andre Eriksen, introduces the new Forte Formula Pro Steering Wheel, which is now up for pre-order.
The Asetek Forte Formula Pro wheel is a high-performance sim racing steering wheel for the PC (Windows 10 and 11) that bridges the gap between Asetek’s Forte and Invicta wheel lines, offering many premium features at a more accessible price point than the flagship Invicta.
The wheel is constructed from glassfiber-reinforced composite with a 2mm woven carbon fiber front plate, providing exceptional strength and rigidity while remaining lightweight (around 1.16kg without handles).
Keep in mind that the Handles are sold separately. The wheel can be purchased with a selection of modular and interchangeable handles, with options for Regular, XL, LMP, and Suede handles, allowing for customization of size, shape, and material.
The front plate is fitted with a 4.3” 800×480 pixel LCD touch display running at 60Hz, delivering crystal-clear, race-critical telemetry at a glance. Furthermore, the wheel features a large number of customizable inputs, making it highly versatile for various racing disciplines. (Touchscreen functionality is planned for future updates.)
Furthermore, there are also 6 FlagLight LEDs and a 15-LED RevLight. All are fully customized in color and brightness via the Asetek RaceHub software, or can seamlessly be integrated with third-party SimHub dashboards.
The wheelplate houses 10 aluminium push buttons with LED, 3 front-facing rotary encoders with LED, 6 thumb encoders, and 2 seven-way kinky switches offering multiple input options (four directions, push, and turn).
The rear of the wheel 2 features contactless magnetic shifter paddles, and is optionally upgradeable with dual-clutch paddles and additional input paddles for functions like DRS.
An Asetek SimSports Quick Release is included, but the wheel can also be fitted to a 3rd-party Quick Release system via a USB-C connection.
The Asetek Forte Formula Pro Steering Wheel is on pre-order with a price starting at €629,41 (excl. VAT) / USD 649.00 (excl. VAT). Due to the ongoing tariffs, US customers will have to purchase via the Global shop.
Orders are expected to be shipped from August 14th, 2025.
