The ProSimu.com company, based in Le Mans, France, well known for its motion simulator solutions, introduced a new product that brings a high-end motion simulation to the more affordable market.
As some may know, ProSimu is renowned for building ultra-high-end performance motion simulator platforms in 2, 3, 4, or 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) configurations.
Professionally developed motion systems such as these do come at a price and may not fit everyone’s budget. Now, ProSimu has engineered a more affordable solution while retaining the high-quality and performance features of its more expensive brothers.
The new ProSimu Motion Seat is a compact, plug-and-play solution that can be integrated with most existing sim racing chassis and is easily mountable to Aluminum T-slotted profile rigs. It enables you to turn any rig into a Pro Simulator.
The chassis is made out of rigid and durable laser-cut steel with a textured industrial coating. The frame is designed to operate at an ultra-low center of gravity, ensuring superior stability and balance.
The motion is powered by two industrial-grade ultra-silent ProSimu PRS50 actuators, specially engineered for dynamic simulation. The PRS50 actuators reach a speed of 208 mm/s, moving up to 44 times per second, supporting a maximum driver weight of 150kg.
The performance of the actuators combined with an innovative pivoting system replicates realistic roll, pitch, and loss-of-traction sensations with exceptional precision.
The ProSimu Motion Seat is ready to use out of the box, offering plug-and-play functionality with a wide range of supported games and simulators. The electronics simply connect to a PC via a USB 2.0/3.0 port.
