MOZA Racing Reveals Direct Drive Wheels for PS5

Back in July, during Round 2 of the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series championship, the Chinese MOZA Racing announced that alongside Fanatec, they have also become an official peripheral partner of the Gran Turismo World Series, marking the brand’s major entry into the PlayStation ecosystem.

Through this partnership, MOZA Racing developed a range of new PlayStation-compatible Direct-Drive wheelbases (alongside PC support) that will be natively supported in Gran Turismo 7. They will officially introduce the new products during the 2026 Tokyo Game Show.

Moza will reveal the new standalone R16S Ultra wheelbase, the R16S Ultra Racing Simulator bundle, and the R5S Pro Racing Simulator bundle.

The MOZA R5S Pro Racing Simulator is MOZA Racing’s officially licensed entry-level 5.5Nm Direct Drive bundle designed specifically for the PlayStation 5. It provides console racers with an all-in-one package to get into direct-drive sim racing without having to buy parts separately. The bundle includes a Direct Drive Wheel Base, Steering Wheel Rim, and a Pedal Set derived from MOZA’s SR-P Lite platform. The products offer plug-and-play compatibility, automatic telemetry mapping, and tuned feedback for Gran Turismo 7.

The flagship MOZA R16S Ultra Racing Simulator is an officially licensed Direct Drive package for the PlayStation 5 and PC, based on MOZA’s high-torque R16 Ultra motor architecture. A dedicated premium PlayStation steering wheel with an all-metal D1-spec quick-release mechanism and PlayStation-certified buttons for in-game menu navigation and car configuration adjustments is included with the bundle. The R16S offers plug-and-play setup, pre-tuned force feedback profiles, and out-of-the-box telemetry integration for GT7.

The standalone MOZA R16S Ultra Direct Drive Wheel Base, derived from the PC R16 Ultra architecture, is MOZA Racing’s officially licensed enthusiast-grade direct-drive base for PlayStation 5 and PC, aimed at existing MOZA ecosystem owners who only need the wheel base, or want to use their existing rims and pedals.

All the new products integrate with the MOZA mobile app via Bluetooth, allowing racers to adjust force feedback curves, steering angles, and pedal sensitivity directly from a smartphone without exiting games.

Release date, pricing, and more details regarding the new products will be announced at a later date.
