Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games officially announced that the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport will be added to the upcoming Assetto Corsa EVO Early Access V0.3 Update.
The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport will be featured as new content alongside 8 new cars and 2 circuits. So far, we could already have a look at the BMW M4 GT3 EVO racing car, the iconic BMW M3 E30, and the Dallara Stradale that was showcased at the Milano Monza Open-Air Motor Show.
At the time of writing, Kubos had not yet shared a release date for the update.
Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport
The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport is a purpose-built, near-standard production-based race car, specifically designed for track use and not road-legal. It’s an evolution of the highly regarded road-going 718 Cayman GT4, optimized for various GT racing series around the world.
The car is powered by a 3.8-litre (or 4.0-litre in later versions like the GT4 RS Clubsport) naturally aspirated flat-six boxer engine, mid-mounted for optimal balance.
The 3.8-liter version produces around 313 kW (425 hp) at 7,500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 425 Nm at 6,600 rpm. Later RS Clubsport variants push power even higher. All that power is transferred to the rear wheels via a Porsche dual-clutch gearbox (PDK) with six gears and a mechanical rear axle differential lock.
While exact 0-100 km/h figures are less relevant for a track car, its focus is on incredible cornering speed, braking stability, and overall track capability.
Assetto Corsa EVO is available in Early Access on Steam for €39.99.
