WSGT2 – WIP Gallery – Cockpits


 

 

The last few months a few people requested a easy to browse gallery of development shots we had accumulated of the WSGT2 mod in progress. 

The gallery would be way to big. So we decided to break them up into parts.
In part 1 we will have a selection of cockpit screens of various cars within the WSGT2 mod.

There are still allot of cars in need of internals, but slowly but surely we get there.

    beautiful – i hope you make sure that with a fov of around 30, things still look this great, as most mods really fail to look good in the cockpits for triple screen users, neils corvette cockpit is a good example of amazing polygon count and textures for low FOV. Hope you guys really put a keen eye on these areas and bump up poly count or texture clarity when you see issues at these low FOV. I only say this because i already know i’ll be in this mod for many, many hours when it comes out :)

    Outstanding.
    What else are people supposed to say? I think these are the most detailed cockpits ever created for a racing sim. I really wonder what they could like like in a gold state rFactor 2 including gear change animations. Especially those 90s GT cars like the McLaren F1 GTR, Mercedes CLK GTR and Porsche 911 GT1.

    I can say from experience that these pictures dont do the real thing in game any justice :) The interiors look simply amazing (as do the exterior models) and the mod will be well worth the wait ;)
