Assetto Corsa Competizione DLSS Support Coming

Kunos Simulazioni has announced that Assetto Corsa Competizione will soon support the NVidia DLSS AI rendering technology massively increasing the graphics performance for NVidia RTX Graphic card users.

DLSS stands for deep learning super sampling. It is a deep learning advanced video rendering technique that can significantly boost the performance of a game. In essence, framerates are boosted by rendering frames at a lower resolution, after which the output is upscaled to a higher resolution. For instance, the game can be rendered in 1080P and then upscaled to output a 4K resolution without any significant quality loss over native 4K.

In order to use DLSS, you will need an RTX graphics card and a game or application that supports the NVidia DLSS feature.

The current official NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready 496.76 WHQL is listed to bring the DLSS 2.3 technology support to the Unreal Engine 4 powered Assetto Corsa Competizione racing simulator. However, before the technology can be used, Kunos Simulazioni will first have to release an update that will let you enable the feature in-game.
