Good morning and welcome to the Assetto Corsa teaser show. Today’s featured beauty is the iconic McLaren F1 GTR that will be part of the upcoming Assetto Corsa Dreampack.

The McLaren F1 GTR was a racing version of McLaren F1 sports car. It was developed in 1995 to compete in various international GT Series. The F1 GTR managed to snatch the victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995. A very special win, because the car succeeded in beating the faster purpose-built Le Mans prototypes.
The GTR retired from racing in 2005. in 1997, the Mclaren F1 GTR was further developed as a longtail version. Less weight, better aerodynamics and an engine that was mounted slightly lower in the chassis for better handling characteristics.
