Following the major 0.8 content update, Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games have released the V0.8.1 Update for the Early Access Assetto Corsa EVO.
This is mostly a stability update, with improvements to AI and quality-of-life hotfixes. The patch fixes crashes when recording dynamic tracks and refreshing the multiplayer server browser, and improves backend data verification and livery-sharing support for user-generated content.
Key gameplay fixes include AI pit lane assignments, unresponsiveness during race start countdowns (when launch assist is enabled), visual pop-in glitches (such as missing or corrupted car thumbnails), and track texture bugs on the newly added Kyalami circuit.
