F1 2018 – Nico Hülkenberg Hot Lap At The Hockenheimring

This weekend the German Grand Prix will return to the FIA Formula One World Championship calendar with a race at the famous Hockenheimring circuit. Newt month, you will be able to fire up the Codemasters F1 2018 racing game and try to conquer the track yourself.

In the latest F1 2018 video, Renault Sport Formula One Team’s Nico Hülkenberg takes us for a hotlap on the German GP track and shows us how to set a fast time.

F1 2018, the official video game of the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship will become available on Friday, August 24 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC (DVD and Steam).


Hockenheimring

The present Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg is a racing circuit situated in the Rhine valley near the town of Hockenheim in Baden-Württemberg, Germany that was re-designed by Hermann Tilke. The track biennially hosts the German F1 Grand Prix and is one of the most famous DTM tracks, hosting the first and final race of the season.

Nicolas Hülkenberg

German professional racing driver Nicolas Hülkenberg is currently racing for the Renault Sport F1 Team. In 2015, he also contested in two rounds of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship season for Porsche, winning the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans in his first attempt.

Nico was the 2009 champion of the GP2 Series, and is a previous champion of both the Formula 3 Euro Series and A1 Grand Prix, as part of A1 Team Germany. Hülkenberg raced in Formula One in 2010 with the Williams F1 team. Despite winning the first pole position for Williams in more than five years, he was not retained for 2011 and joined Force India as a test and reserve driver. He was promoted to a race seat with the team for the 2012 season, joining Paul di Resta. In 2013 Nico drove for the Sauber team, with Mexican driver Esteban Gutiérrez as his teammate. Hülkenberg returned to Force India for the 2014 season. In October 2016, it was confirmed that he would switch to Renault for the 2017 and later on the 2018 season.
