iRacing - GT3 Class Single Player Mode Trailer

Today iRacing published a new trailer promoting the GT3 class AI mode, showing us some artificial battles on a selection of iRacing tracks.

iRacing can be considered to be the biggest and most feature-rich online racing platform to date. Nevertheless, the popularity of the very competitive online racing system is both loved and hated for a number of reasons.

From the early start in 2008, iRacing was intended to be an online-only racing simulator. However, racing in a very aggressive, and ultra-competitive ranked racing environment, that is sanctioned with a safety rating system is not something everyone likes to do. That is why back in 2018, iRacing implemented a single-player mode where members could race against the AI in a non-sanctioned environment. Because of the large amount of content, and the individuality of the different series within the platform, iRacing decided to roll out the single-player mode over a period of time, gradually enabling the feature for its different series.

The 2021 Season 2 build, introduced the largest single-player release yet enabling an AI single-player mode for the popular GT3 series. You are now able to set up races against AI drivers taking the wheel of seven of iRacing’s most popular GT3 cars.

The seven GT3 AI Models:

  • Audi R8 LMS
  • BMW M4 GT3 Prototype
  • Ferrari 488 GT3
  • Ford GT GT3
  • Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO
  • McLaren MP4-12C GT3
  • Mercedes AMG GT3
