Motorsport Games and Studio 397 have deployed a new hotfix for Le Mans Ultimate, the official game of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Update V1.4.0.2 focuses on resolving critical stability issues, online driver swap glitches, physics calculation errors, and VR compatibility bugs introduced with the major V1.4 milestone update.

Le Mans Ultimate is currently available on Steam for €39,99. The Le Mans Ultimate WEC Full Access Bundle is available for €84,94.

Game Updates

Driver Swaps – Online

  • Fixed exiting vehicle and taking control before formation start placing you in the pit lane rather than on track for the race start

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue where changing setup would sometimes not apply when pressing start driving
  • Fixed not being able to modify car setup changes in a race session that were made in qualifying
  • Fixed occasional occurrence of never being able to start driving after a session change

Hosted Servers

  • Fixed hosted server screen not showing the cars people have selected.

Netcode

  • Fixed clients not being disconnected when a server closes

Physics

  • Fixed physics inconsistencies from parsing errors

Race Watch Screen

  • Fixed clicking an incident not switching to the correct car

Race Weekend

  • Updated 2026 WEC Calendar for Barcelona and Monza

Track Limits

  • Revised time ratio contributions to track limits to reduce the chance of very high points for extremely short cuts.

Virtual Reality

  • Updated VR to be OpenXR 1.0 compatible (it was previously only 1.1 compatible, causing issues using +XR on various headsets)

Known Issues

Team Events

  • If you rejoin a server during a team event, on the watch screen, fair share, stint, and lap data shown on the replay bar are all shown inaccurately.

Virtual Reality

  • When running OpenXR and cropping the FOV, you may run into issues with the hidden area mask. For now, you can disable it manually in the settings.json: “VR Enable Hidden Area Mask”: false
