Update Highlight Summary:

New Content (ELMS Pack 3)

The final installment of the ELMS Season Pass arrives with this update, completing the series’ grid and calendar:

  • New Car: The Duqueine D09 (LMP3). Third-generation LMP3 chassis, with the now very familiar twin-turbo V6 from Toyota. This car completes the LMP3-spec grid, joining the existing Ligier and Ginetta.
  • New Track: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. This adds the final missing venue from the real-world 2025 ELMS championship. featuring a combination of fast sweeping corners, medium-speed sections, and a long 1 km main straight. Released with the 2025 non-chicane layout, Motorsport Games intends to add additional layouts in a future update.
  • Alternate Layouts: Seven new layouts for existing tracks will be added, including Silverstone National/International and several variations for Paul Ricard. Silverstone now features the National, International, and the Grand Prix layout from the Wing pitlane, as featured in WEC in years gone by. Paul Ricard now features 1a, 1av2, 1av2-short, and 3a layouts.

Technical & Performance Overhaul

Studio 397 is implementing several “under the hood” changes to improve stability and frame rates:

  • UI Middleware Switch: The game is moving from Chromium to Coherent Labs tech. This should make the menus more responsive and eliminate certain persistent crashes.
  • Occlusion Culling: To boost FPS, the game will no longer render cars that are not visible (e.g., cars hidden inside pit garages).
  • Faster Loading: Loading times are expected to decrease by roughly 20%.
  • Hardware Support: Native support for Logitech TRUEFORCE and dedicated support for bass shakers (available via a new drop-down menu in sound settings).

Grid & Online Updates

  • Expanded Grids: Imola, Spa, and Portimão will now support a 44-car grid configuration to mirror real-life ELMS field sizes.
  • TV Overlay: The current 2026 FIA WEC broadcast graphics will be integrated, enhancing the “watch” and replay experience.
  • Endurance Racing: While the 38-car team races are now officially out of “test” status, a new 24-hour test event is expected shortly after the 1.3 update to further refine 62-car server stability.

Career Mode Delayed

Originally slated for Q1 2026 (alongside this update), the highly anticipated Career Mode has been pushed to later in 2026 to ensure the complexity of the “zero-to-hero” progression system is fully polished.
