iRacing Studios published its first NASCAR 26 Developer Diary, in which creative director Mike DeVault and producer Matt Lewis share their thoughts on the San Diego aircraft carrier burnout, an early look at the vision behind NASCAR 26, and some of the new features coming to the game.
The NASCAR 26 Standard Edition of the game will launch on September 18th, while the Gold Edition will be available on September 15th for those who pre-ordered. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). The official Game Trailer and Pre-orders are set to launch beginning July 29th.
NASCAR 26 will continue to feature the Cup Series, O’Reilly Series (formerly Xfinity), Craftsman Trucks, and ARCA Menards Series. Sadly enough, the game is maintaining the dedicated series per track rule, meaning you won’t be able to race any vehicle type on any track.
NASCAR 26 will feature 3 new tracks in the form of Chicagoland Speedway (Cup, O’Reilly, ARCA), St. Petersburg Street Circuit (Craftsman Trucks), and Naval Base Coronado / San Diego Street Circuit (Cup, O’Reilly, Craftsman Trucks). The Charlotte Roval and the Chicago Street Circuit are absent in NASCAR 26, while the Bowman Gray Stadium remains a missing track from the Cup Series lineup.
I will keep you posted when more details are shared.
