Project CARS Oculus Rift DK2

GamerMuscle Oculus Rift DK2 Project CARS test

GamerMuscle owns an Oculus Rift DK2 Virtual Reality Headset and is lately blown away by its immersion factor. After doing some tests using Live for Speed he now jumps into Project CARS by Slightly Mad Studios and hooks up the Rift. Slightly Mad has implemented Oculus Rift support since Build 723.

Sadly enough the GamerMuscle test PC was not really up to the task of  capturing the in-game videos action. That said, it is still interesting to hear what he had to say about the experience. GamerMuscle promised to do redo another video with a better frame rate in the near future. While in the Live for Speed test, GamerMuscle seemed blown away by the experience, the visuals of Project CARS seem to impress him even more. Keep in mind that both Project CARS and the Oculus Rift are still in development. This has an effect on the image quality of the unit.

Project CARS by Slightly Mad Studios will launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2014.
