In preparation of the track build, Szymik managed to secure laser can data from the polish Kadex Fotogramedia Company and get support from the Tor Poznań track management.
While this release carries the V1.0 label, Szymik explained he does not regard the track as finished. In the near future, he plans to add 3d grass, better trees, more objects and cameras around the track, and an optional Kart layout.
Poznań is the largest circuit in Poland and is located in the western outskirts of the city of Poznań in western Poland. The circuit was build between 1975 and 1977 and neighbors the Poznań-Ławica Airport. It is a reasonably fast track with good run-off areas somewhat reminiscent of the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic, albeit with less elevation change.
The clockwise raced Poznań circuit is 4.083 km long (2.5 Miles) and features 13 corners. It also incorporated a 1.5-kilometer karting circuit.
