Project CARS 2 – Porsche Officially Announced

It did not exactly come as a surprise, but Slightly Mad Studios has now officially announced that the famous Porsche brand will be part of the upcoming Project CARS 2 racing title.

The announcement is accompanied by an interesting video trailer (the second in the Built By Drivers series) featuring the American Porsche factory racing driver Patrick Long who explains his affiliation with both the Porsche brand and the Project CARS 2 development. The video also contains a fair share of in-game footage showcasing some of the Porsche models that will be featured in the game.

At the time of writing, Slightly Mad Studios did not yet confirm the full list of Porsche models to be included in the game. Nevertheless, the video already reveals a few interesting Porsche models such as the historic 935, 936, 962C, 962C Longtail, 911 GT1 and the modern day, 991 GT3 RS, 911 GT3 R, 918 Spyder and the Cayman GT4 Clubsport. An already impressive list to say the least.

Project CARS 2 the ‘ultimate driver journey’ will become available late 2017 for the PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam OS. On the consoles, PCars 2 will go head to head with upcoming heavyweights such as Forza Motorsport 7 and Gran Turismo Sport.
