Project CARS 3 – Corvette C7 At Interlagos – Full Sim Settings Gameplay

Two days ago, Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco surprised the gaming world when they officially announced the third installment of the Project CARS franchise.

The announcement trailer revealed that Project CARS 3 might not be the racing simulator most sim racers were expecting. The footage did indicate that the upcoming Project CARS 3 title is geared more towards a fun experience and an extensive career mode. (In all honesty, Slightly Mad Studios had already pointed out that this was as intended.)

While the announcement trailer was well received by the majority of gamers, a part of the sim racing community instantly communicated a rather negative response, deeming the title as pure Sim-Cade. However, via Twitter, Slightly Mad Studios CEO and, Executive Director at Codemasters, Ian Bell responded explaining that Project CARS 3 is developed to suit a wider audience, but can also be dialed in to perform in simulation mode.

Now YouTuber Austin Ogonoski posted a video showing us some in-game action driving the Corvette C7 streetcar on the Interlagos circuit with Project CARS 3 set to the Professional handling mode, which disables all the driving aids. While the Arcade settings are there to make the driving enjoyable, in our humble opinion this Pro mode seems even more fun. Bring it on.

Project CARS 3 will become available this summer for the PC (via Steam), Playstation 4, and Xbox One. At the current time, there is not yet mention of an Xbox Series X or PS5 release.
