Slightly Mad Studios and distributor BANDAI NAMCO Games Europe intend to release the Project CARS title by November this year. The World of Mass Development project has been proven a big susses the past few years. Fans who have joined the WMD project in the early days, have access to all updates and builds, and got to witness the birth and creation of a top title. After 80.000 dedicated members joined Project CARS, SMS had successfully reached its funding goal of 3.75 Million Euro. After that people where no longer able to join, and therefore had only been able to follow up the project by means of screenshots and video’s.

The development started out as you would expect, with a basic track and a set of WIP car models. Then the SMS development team started performing its magic, turning the Project CARS project in one of the most beautiful automotive games ever produced.  While Project cars is still pretty much a Work in Progress, some parts of the game are in a more finished state then others. One of the features that has to be finalised is the User interface. Not an easy task, because of the multi-platform nature of the game. It has to be functional for both PC and Console users.

The Project CARS Fan Page youTube channel posted a nice set of videos showing non WMD members the current state of the Project CARS User Interface.
