rFactor 2 Forums migrated to STUDIO 397

STUDIO 397 anounced that the official rFactor 2 forums formerly hosted by ISI, are now fully migrated to the STUDIO 397 website.

You can find the new forums by at https://forum.studio-397.com/ or by clicking the “Forum” link in the menu at the top of the site.

As part of our plan to consolidate all information regarding rFactor 2, we have just finished migrating the user forums. The old forums at isiforums.net as well as the private beta forums are both getting a new home. Technically we have moved our forum software from vBulletin to XenForo, but we’ve spent a lot of time to ensure that this migration was done without loosing any posts or user accounts.

Looking ahead our next steps will be to extend the website, adding more information for new users as well as making sure we have good documentation both for users and people interested in modding rFactor 2 in any way (building tracks, cars, writing plugins, painting cars, etc.).

Back in October, STUDIO 397 published its first rFactor 2 Development Roadmap, revealing some of the upcoming features for the well-known racing simulator.

The development update confirmed that Studio 397 is already working on a DX11 engine and VR support. If all goes well, these features should be ready by the end of Q1 2017.

Furthermore, they also announced that new content is on the way in the form of the USF2000 Prototype racer and the NOLA Motorsports Park track. Both projects are well underway, and it is stated that the USF2000 is almost ready for release.

Last but not least, The team is also proud to announce they have secured a license with Radical sportscars. The British manufacturer has already provided STUDIO 397 with the necessary CAD drawings and performance data. This will enable the Studio to deliver a highly accurate virtual model of the popular racing car.
