rFactor 2 GT3 Update

Yesterday, Motorsport Games and Studio 397 deployed a new update bringing the 14 currently available GT3 cars in rFactor 2 up to version v3.51. The update included new Tyres, a new BoP (Balance of Performance), Traction Control improvements, ABS Improvements, Shift Protection, and full compatibility with the latest sound engine.

Today the developer released a new hotfix that addresses some issues and further improves the GT3 car update.

  • Radical is still a work in progress and slower than other cars due to work on new tyres. Further work will be done in the next two weeks to improve its performance.
  • Mercedes has been heavily reworked, and we will review it over the next two weeks to ensure it is competitive.
  • Some GT3 cars presently vibrate when in the garage, we are reviewing a fix for this in time for the release in two weeks.
  • We intend to improve the default setups for the next release.
