Two years ago rFactor 2 was used in the inaugural World’s Fastest Gamer competition, with rFactor 2 champion, Rudy van Buren becoming the overall winner. This year, rFactor 2 is back as part of this prestigious sim racing competition.

For those who are interested in commpeting, the Registration is now open. To help you get started, Studio 397 has published a convenient info page outlining everything you need to know to participate in the WFG2 competition. Head over to www.studio-397.com/worlds-fastest-gamer-2.

This year World’s Fastest Gamer founder and Millennial Esports Corp President, Darren Cox is back with WFG2 which will most likely top the success of the first edition as the organization partnered up with the Swiss R-Motorsport team who campaign Aston Martin GT cars in several real-world championships.

In the WFG2, 10 gamers will engage in a battle for the biggest ever prize in Esports ever.

Eight of the finalists come from the biggest esports racing championships of 2019. Two more will enter via wild card qualifiers held in the coming weeks, one exclusively on mobile on the Gear.Club app, the other online on rFactor 2. The finalists will undergo rigorous selection trials in the UK with the top six flying to R-Motorsport’s HQ in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Two will be picked through an intensive four-day set of challenges and will then compete in an on-track shoot out at the Hockenheim finale for Germany’s “Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters” (DTM). Head judge Juan Pablo Montoya and WFG season one winner Rudy Van Buren will decide who has what it takes to claim the prize worth more than $1 Million.

The eventual winner will become a professional driver and race an Aston Martin with R-Motorsport and drive a full racing season at iconic circuits such as Monza, Paul Ricard, Brands Hatch, Nurburgring, including the famous Spa-Francorchamps and Daytona 24 hours races.
