Hardware – Classic Race Simulators Limited.

Last year I met Alastair McLeod of Classic Race Simulators online in a chat session. I had seen some interesting photographs of the most intriguing cockpit builds. Alastair loved the Golden Age of motor-racing and his childhood heroes, Jim Clark, Graham Hill and Sir Jackie Stewart were part of his passion. Being a Sim racer, when he got his hands on the blueprints of a Lotus 49B, he started playing with the idea of building his own cockpit. and so he did.

Alastair had build his own Team Lotus number 5 cockpit sporting early 1967 livery. After meeting Guy Jeynes-Ellis who had some expertise in marketing, and contacts within the racing industry, id did not take long before he had build two more Classic racing car bodies. The Red, green and blue pre-production body tubs represented Hill, Clark and Siffert.
